The Egyptian Entrepreneurship League (EEL), a Techne initiative, was an exciting competition designed to spotlight innovative startups. The competition offered early-stage startups in Egypt the chance to showcase their ideas, gain recognition, and compete for a variety of prizes. The winners, Yuda (female-led) and Tilestic (male-led), each received EGP 50,000 in cash and EGP 200,000 worth of complimentary services. The competition provided a platform for startups to demonstrate their creativity, attract attention, and connect with potential investors and partners. The top startups, selected based on social media engagement, were also invited to pitch live at Techne Summit Cairo 2024. The EEL competition encouraged startups focused on sustainability, social impact, and innovative solutions to apply, with particular encouragement for female-led startups.
